JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE MAY ADD EMMY TO THAT BOX: 'SNL' VIRAL HIT NOMINATED
Come September 16, Justin Timberlake might be able to add a fourth step to the chorus of the viral megahit "Di-- in a Box": Put an Emmy in that box.
Along with his digital-short co-star, Andy Samberg, and several "Saturday Night Live" staff writers, Timberlake was nominated for an Emmy on Thursday (July 19) for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for the pair's wildly popular song about surprise packages. Timberlake's credits on the nomination are for music and lyrics, and he'll be facing off against "My Drunken Irish Dad" from "Family Guy," "Merry Ex-Mas" from "Mad TV" and a pair of tunes from the musical episode of "Scrubs": "Guy Love" and "Everything Comes Down to Poo."
Shortly after "Box" became an Internet phenomenon, Samberg told MTV News that Timberlake was more than game to sing the raunchy tune on the show. "We presented it to Justin once we thought it was funny enough, and he didn't even blink. He was like, 'Oh yeah! Absolutely!' " he said, adding that Timberlake came up with the tune's hook (see "Timberlake, Samberg Whip Out The Boxes At New York Show" and " 'SNL' Star Behind Timberlake's Raunchy Hit Hopes To 'Box' Up Full LP").
Among other profane nominees are those for Outstanding Animated Program, including "Robot Chicken" ("Lust for Puppets"), "The Simpsons" ("The Haw-Hawed Couple") and "South Park" ("Make Love, Not Warcraft").
The "American Idol" finale is up against "The Colbert Report," "The Daily Show," "Saturday Night Live" and a Tony Bennett special for Outstanding Directing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Program. "Idol" got seven nods total, among them Outstanding Reality-Competition Program, Outstanding Technical Direction and Outstanding Multi-Camera Picture Editing for a Series for its star-studded "Idol Gives Back" charity special. In that category, it will face off against, among others, the Robin Sparkles episode of "How I Met Your Mother."
Queen Latifah was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for her role as Ana in the HBO movie "Life Support"; she'll square off against such acting legends as Gena Rowlands and Helen Mirren. The Super Bowl halftime show featuring Prince (see "Foo Fighters 'Have No Idea' Why Prince Covered Their Song At Super Bowl") was nominated for Outstanding Special Class Program and Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video for a Miniseries, Movie or Special.
The final season of "The Sopranos" dominated the nominations with 15 nods, including Best Drama and acting bids for onscreen husband and wife James Gandolfini and Edie Falco (see " 'Sopranos' Creator David Chase Talks About Finale, Denies 'Trying To Blow People's Minds' "). "Ugly Betty" received the second-most nominations with 11.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE APRE IL "SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY"
Justin Timberlake e i suoi soci Eytan Sugarman e Trace Ayala hanno aperto un ristorante a New York in stile Memphis, il cui nome è “Southern Hospitality”. Il ristorante servirà piatti tipici di Memphis provenienti da alcune ricette antiche della famiglia Timberlake. Come arredo è stato scelto l’antiquariato , che gli conferisce ancora di più lo stile del Sud e si trova nella Second Avenue vicino alla 76 Street nell’East New York. Beh, che aspettiamo?ora abbiamo anche l’indirizzo! JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE GUADAGNA 2,888 STERLINE OGNI MINUTO DEL WORLD TOUR
E’ il musicista più talentuoso del momento e frequenta la sexy Jessica Biel.Ma nel caso non dovesse bastargli, sappia che alla fine del tour si ritroverà con 35 milioni di sterline in tasca.
Molto più di quanto abbiano fatto grandi nomi del passato- per citarne alcuni, Sir Paul McCartney,Sir Elton John, Coldplay e P.Diddy.
La star ventiseienne ha appena terminato il tour europeo esibendosi alla O2 Arena di Londra ed è pronto per riaprire le danze il 6 agosto a Memphis, dove aprirà un’altra serie di concerti in America, raggiungendo così un totale di 101 date.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE NEL NUOVO DISCO DI TALIB KWELI
Il rapper Talib Kewli nel 2005 ha firmato un contratto con la Warner Music per poter aprire la propria etichetta discografica e il suo primo disco da “indipendente” doveva uscire l’anno scorso, ma è stato spostato più volte. Ora sembra che la fatidica data sia stata decisa e l’uscita effettiva dell’album, il cui titolo sarà Eardrum, è stata fissata per il 21 agosto.
Il primo singolo ad uscire sarà “Hot Thing” prodotto da Will I Am dei Black Eyed Peas, ma l’album si avvale di altre collaborazioni importanti, tra cui Norah Jones e Justin Timberlake, a cui si aggiunge Kanie West per quanto riguarda la produzione.

MADONNA, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, TIMBALAND E KEISHA BUCHANAN: NUOVA COLLABORAZIONE IN VISTA
Madonna potrebbe avere più che solo Justn Timberlake e Timbaland a disposizione per la lavorazione del suo nuovo album.
Il trio è stato avvistato mentre entrava allo studio di registrazione di Notting Hill, ma a loro si è aggiunta Keisha Buchanan.
Keisha, 22,è la cantante leader e unico membro appartenente alla formazione originaria della girlband inglese Sugababes e ci sono buone probabilità che abbia registrato qualche demo per il suo primo album da solista.
Sembra che Madonna stia chiamando i rinforzi per il suo nuovo album!

MADONNA AL CONCERTO DI JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE
Madonna è stata avvistata mentre usciva dalla sua palestra martedì e a quanto pare era andata a fare un po’ di workoutdopo la sua performance al Live Earth di Sabato scorso.
Inoltre ha presenziato al concerto di Justin il giorno dopo. Un utente del drownedmadonna.com dice di aver visto ad un certo punto del movimento attorno a qualcuno ben scortato e ed era lei con il suo entourage.

Cameron Diaz è diventata una pupilla per i paparazzi da quando si è scrollata dal braccio di Justin Timberlake.Jessica Biel, che prima era definita come “dolcissima” dai fotografi, ora invece ha cominciato a godere di meno attenzione.
“E’ stata scortese e antipatica” ha riferito un fotografo.
“Prima era dolce e carina e ci offriva sempre un sorriso o si metteva in posa per noi, ora che frequenta Jt invece si nasconde e ci insulta!”
